Just a 35-minute flight southwest of Mahé – the main island of Seychelles – Four Seasons is the only resort on this remarkably spacious island, encompassing 402 hectares (933 acres) and edged by 14 kilometres (nine miles) of white-sand beaches. Guests will feel as though they have stepped back in time to a world of untouched nature, where Aldabra giant tortoises might stroll past and rays swim along the shore. Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island comprises 71 luxury accommodations, nestled among the south-westerly coastlines and each with their own pool and ocean view. Guests can relax in expansive indoor and outdoor spaces or cool off in their free-standing plunge pool whilst listening to the sound of the waves that lap the shore only footsteps away. In total there are 48 villas and bungalows comprising 21 Ocean View Pool Villas, 9 Sunset Beach Villas and 18 Beach Bungalows. Each has their own unique position on the island and offers a sanctuary for couples or small families travelling to Seychelles.
Under the guidance of Head Chef, Olivier Barré, the resort’s team of talented chefs serve up delicious variety of indulgent delights. Guests can sample four distinct culinary options, all open-air and beachfront, with relaxed all-day menus served at The Bar or Claudine and a contemporary fusion menu at The Lighthouse signature restaurant.
Guests can fill every Desroches day with new experiences – whether kayaking along the shore, cycling on forest trails, scuba diving at 15 classified dive sites, or fishing for marlin and dorado. The Tortoise Sanctuary welcomes visitors to meet Aldabra giant tortoises and learn from the scientists of the Island Conservation Society, cycling past the island’s Creole Village on the way, to see how local craftspeople operate a furniture workshop and cultivate the land. At the same time, children can have fun in the Kids For All Seasons program, playing games and learning to identify island birds.

Our bungalows are tucked away among the towering palm trees, with bedrooms that look onto a furnished terrace toward a pair of beach kayaks that await an early-morning paddle or an afternoon adventure. A private plunge pool sits effortlessly at the side or back of the bungalow, surrounded by perfectly manicured lawns that lead directly to the beach.
Sunset Beach Villas
A secluded upper balcony lets you enjoy sunset views over the Indian Ocean, while an open-plan bedroom and lounge lead to an expansive pool cabana that welcomes you to cool off any time, day or night.
Sunset Beach Suites
Relax in your private pool cabana, watch the waves from a hammock strung between the palm trees and toast the island sunset with dinner on the terrace, all before retreating inside to your roomy king-size bed. Located on the west side of our island, Sunset Beach Suites feature 105m2 (1,130ft2) of contemporary island living space, with a separate office area that can transform into a self contained second bedroom, perfect for children needing their own space.
Desroches Suite
This two-bedroom beachfront suite provides a private sanctuary to call your own, with all of our Resort amenities located just steps away. Comprising one Sunset Beach Suite and one Sunset Beach Villa, the Desroches Suite brings together some of the resort’s most luxurious accommodation around a single living area and pool deck.
