Milaidhoo Island Maldives is a boutique luxury resort in the Baa Atoll UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to Hanifaru Bay, 126km north west of Male. It’s perfect for nature lovers as its own coral reef, which completely circles the island, is a protected area and noted as an outstanding snorkelling and diving site in its own right. The tiny beautiful island, abundant with tropical greenery, measures just 300m by 180m and is fringed by white soft deep sand beaches.
Each of the 50 spacious air-conditioned villas has its own private freshwater pool on the sundeck and opens up 180 degrees to allow the natural beauty of the island into the villa. Clever design ensures all villas have ocean views. The custom-made furnishings and thoughtful designs are Maldivian inspired, from natural wooden floor to the thatched roof all made by master craftsmen specifically for Milaidhoo. An island host is on hand to ensure every detail of the stay is perfect, from arranging spa appointments and excursions to ensuring the private wine fridge in the villa is stocked with the guest’s personal favourites.
Milaidhoo is reached by a scenic 35-minute seaplane ride from Male International Airport. The transfer process is smooth and easy with the resort’s representative meeting each guest at the airport and guiding them to the private lounge where they can rest and recharge to await their transfer.

Are spacious thatched-roof villas placed on stilts over the ocean, they are serene and light and have a huge sundeck with their very own private, 42sqm freshwater infinity pool, swing chair, sun loungers, a large daybed and direct access to the ocean and coral reef. Inside the villas have a king-sized bed with ocean views and custom-made furnishings. These villas can sleep three persons.
Beach pool villas (290sqm)
Are set directly on the white, powder soft, sand beach amongst lush tropical palm trees and greenery. These huge thatch roofed villas come with ocean views and open up 180degrees to the huge sundeck.
Beach Residences (490sqm)
Are spacious beachfront villas created for luxurious informal outdoor island living with generous, separate sleeping and living rooms and a huge outdoor deck. The villas have floor to ceiling windows framing views of the beach and ocean, a 60sqm freshwater infinity pool and, their own private beach, providing a spacious and relaxing spot which can sleep up to three persons. These villas also come with a dedicated butler and chef and the option to have a private cinema on the deck.
Ocean Residence (475sqm)
Discover an over-water paradise with endless ocean views throughout and a personal butler and chef at your service. This villa is placed on stilts over the ocean with a spacious bedroom and a ‘secret’ loft deck in the rooftop overlooking the ocean, providing the perfect spot to relax. Outside on the deck there is a large swing chair, a private freshwater infinity pool, an open air cinema, and steps leading straight to the ocean.
